"ith reference to my telegram of 9th June British Consul General reports that output of year spelter from mines in Yunnan is about 2,400 tone per annum. It leaves province pertly via Chungking, partly onkin. Accord- ing to Railway Department statistic 762 tons was exported to Tonkin during 1913. During first nene months 1914 zinc to the value of 813,728 france was exported to France ad to

value of 1,586,527.frence to other countries.
